Black Friday is Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Tampa’s big centers are International Plaza and WestShore Plaza, across Westshore Boulevard from each other, and Hyde Park Village in South Tampa. Store hours below are only what each center has published. We do not list deals or prices.

Center hours

International Plaza lists Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, and Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, as closed. It has not posted Black Friday hours yet. WestShore Plaza shows only the current day’s hours on its site, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Individual stores, especially the department stores, often open earlier than the mall itself; check the store’s own page.

Holiday kickoffs and markets

• Holiday Happening at Hyde Park Village, 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1602 W. Snow Ave. The center lists live music, a “Nutcracker”-inspired performance by The Tampa City Ballet and a visit from Santa, with the tree lighting at 7:45 p.m.; proceeds benefit The Children’s Dream Fund (event page).
• Caite and Kyla Holiday Sip and Shop, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the boutique’s headquarters, 4899 W. Waters Ave., Suite I/J. Free; RSVP on Eventbrite through the city calendar listing.
• Coastal Cowgirls pop-up, Black Friday weekend, Nov. 27-29, at Hyde Park Village (event page).

Small Business Saturday: Nov. 28

Small Business Saturday falls on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. In Tampa, independent shops line Seventh Avenue in Ybor City and fill the Hyde Park neighborhood around the village. Our new businesses tracker lists the shops that have opened in Tampa this year.

Parking and traffic

• International Plaza and WestShore Plaza face each other across Westshore Boulevard, so expect heavy traffic between them on Black Friday weekend.
• Hyde Park, Ybor City and the Armature Works area use city on-street meters. The city’s rates page lists on-street parking in Hyde Park, Ybor, Armature Works and the Channel District, and city Ybor lots have the first two hours free.
• Parking tickets and garage questions go to the Parking Division, 107 N. Franklin St., 813-274-8179, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

What this means for you

• International Plaza is closed on Thanksgiving; plan Black Friday trips for Friday.
• Hyde Park Village’s tree lighting on Nov. 19 is the first big holiday event in South Tampa.
• City offices are closed Nov. 26-27, so the Parking Division is closed on Black Friday too.
