Valentine’s Day is Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027. It falls on a three-day weekend for many families: Monday, Feb. 15, is Presidents’ Day and a non-student day for Hillsborough County Public Schools, and Friday, Feb. 12, is the district’s Florida State Fair day off.

No Tampa venue had announced a 2027 Valentine’s dinner or event when we checked. We add them here once the restaurant or organizer posts the details on its own site, with the link. Until then, here are the places Tampa couples book, with the facts from their own pages.

Dinner and a show

  • Columbia Restaurant, Ybor City. The restaurant at 2117 E. Seventh Ave. opened in 1905 in a 1903 corner saloon and now has 15 dining rooms across a whole city block. Its flamenco dinner show runs at 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with dinner seatings at 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m., and a second show at 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with 8:30 or 9 p.m. seatings. There is a cover charge for guests over 12, and reservations are required.
  • Bern’s Steak House, 1208 S. Howard Ave. in South Tampa. Bern’s lists its wine cellar and the Harry Waugh Dessert Room, which has its own wine and spirits lists, on its site. Reserve through the site or by phone.

Movies, music and theater

  • Tampa Theatre, 711 N. Franklin St., the nonprofit movie palace downtown, opened in 1926 and shows films and live events year-round (schedule).
  • The Straz Center for the Performing Arts downtown posts its season on its calendar; check it for Feb. 12-14.

Walks and views

  • The Tampa Riverwalk stretches 2.6 miles along the Hillsborough River through downtown, according to Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk. It is free and open to walkers and cyclists.
  • Bayshore Boulevard runs along Hillsborough Bay from downtown into South Tampa. Our parks and trails guide has the details.

A night at the aquarium

The Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive, held an adults-only member night in February 2026, with after-hours access, music and a live electric violin performance. The 2027 February events are not posted yet.
